The PCEA: Supports other professional educational associations in times of crisis. Conducts low cost Professional Development courses on the graduate level for members and negotiates the acceptance of these courses by Framingham State University. Extends recognition to members of the County Association who achieve outstanding professional accomplishments. Maintains an office for the day-to-day operation of the Association and as a source of instant information for members. Provides a website to keep members informed of P.C.E.A. matters. Provides a yearly Legislative Conference to update the membership on pending legislation on the state and national levels which effect education and educators. All P.C.E.A. legislators are invited to attend. Provides Professional Development Points toward state mandated recertification. Actively seeks out our own county educators to lead courses and workshops to promote professional growth. .
